# How to edit or delete assignees

#### 1. Go to the Ricotta app Home tab or the channel/ DM

#### 2. Go to the task list and click on More options

#### 3. Click on More options next to the task list

#### 4. Click on Modify/Delete list

#### 5. Click on the cross to delete assignees

Assignees mean the persons that are responsible for carrying out the task. These can be any users of your Slack workspace. Assignees will be able to view and edit their assigned tasks in the Ricotta app home tab.

#### 6. You can select new assignees or have no assignees for the task list

#### 7. Click on Edit when you're done deleting or editing assignees
