# Deleting OKRs

**Step 1:** To delete an Objective (and its aligned Key Results) or delete only a Key Result, click on the corresponding **'Delete Permanently'** button in the 'more options' menu and confirm the same.

{% hint style="danger" %}
When **an Objective is deleted, the corresponding Key Results would also be deleted,** but you can choose to delete only a particular Key Result without deleting the objective it is aligned to.
{% endhint %}
