# Configuring teams

**Step 1:** Once you've added Ricotta to your Slack workspace, sign up for Ricotta by clicking on the **'Sign up'** button and then click on the **'Configure'** button to start configuring teams

**Step 2:** A pop-up will show up for adding teams. Enter **team name** and select **respective team owners** and click on Submit.&#x20;

**Step 3:** Teams added in the previous step will be created. Additionally, you **can invite team owners** whose teams were not created.
