# How to import birthdays via Excel

#### 1. Go to the Ricotta app Home tab

#### 2. Click on Import via Excel

#### 3. Click on Download Template

#### 4. Next, fill out the user-wise birthdays and work anniversaries as per the format

#### 5. Once the Excel sheet is filled out, click on Upload File

#### 6. Click on Upload File

#### 7. Once your file is uploaded, click on submit

#### 8. The bot will read the file, and the dates will be imported without any errors.

#### 9. If there is an error with your dates, the bot will point out the exact error with the row number. Please fix the errors and reupload the file.
