# How to setup a Channel or a Group Chat

#### 1. Click on the Ricotta Birthday Bot Chat

#### 2. Once you have added Ricotta to a Group chat or channel, you will receive a configure settings message

#### 3. Click on ✍️ Configure Settings

#### 4. The settings will open up

#### 5. Set your preferred celebration time. The bot will post a birthday/ work anniversary at the selected time in the channel or group chat

#### 6. Next, set the time zone, weekend or holiday schedule, and enable work anniversaries

#### 7. Click on Next

#### 8. Next, pick your preferred content pack, language, and Enable/ Disable GIFs in celebration messages.

#### 9. The settings will be saved

#### 10. To view your channel settings and access other features, click on the Ricotta Birthday Bot app tab

#### 11. You can manage all the settings and add birthdays in the dashboard
